1969 Porsche 914-6

The main difference between this and the 914-4 is its six-cylinder engine. In fact it’s the two-litre flat-six from the 911, though no-one should get over-excited at the thought as, to avoid too much in-house competition, they used the lowest spec version from the 911T with only 110bhp. With only 3360 sold compared to over 100,000 of the 914-4, they are also rare, though those low numbers have something to do with the price hike over their kid brother that made them 50% more expensive than an E-type Jaguar. Most went to America and none was built with right-hand-drive.
