1983 Honda HONDA CR-X 1.6i/V-TEC

One of the important lessons learned from the early CR-X was that cars destined for Europe need a lot more rust protection than JDM equivalents. Barely any of these Series 1 CR-Xs survive today, as many of them lost their battle with rust many years ago. Honda took this on board with the second incarnation of the CR-X and with a line-up of more powerful engines, the CR-X was a big hit in Europe. The 1.6 VTEC engine was a real firecracker which like most Honda engines delivered all of its power near to its 7600RPM rev-limit.
