1961 Aston Martin DB4 Drophead

While DB4 saloons are special enough, even more prized are the scarce and beautiful drophead coupés. Production didn’t begin until 1961, three years after the enclosed cars arrived. Just 70 emerged, of which 38 had the standard 240bhp engine and 32 were endowed with the 266bhp of the Vantage engine. In addition to the hood, a hard-top was available; when fitted, it made the British car look very like a Maserati 3500 coupé from behind.
