1965 Aston Martin DB6

The ‘proper’ DB series reached a graceful end with the DB6. A longer wheelbase meant it could seat four people, although only the two up front would have any real comfort. The higher roofline, split bumpers and more aerodynamic Kamm tail were the main identifying points. Extra civilisation was offered in the form of power-steering, air-con and a limited-slip diff and, as was the Aston way, there was a more powerful Vantage version boasting 325bhp. In 1969, the Mk2 appeared, characterised by flared arches and fuel-injection system as an option.
