1968 Peugeot 504 Cabriolet

With a production run of just over 8000, and with a reputation for rust, it’s a surprise just how many 504 Cabriolets have survived; yet with such graceful styling and superb road manners, it ended up being a classic the moment it left the production line. Fuel injected, all models proved fast and effective tourers, especially the final five-speed models. Not directly replaced as Peugeot failed to develop the 505, although the 406 Coupé recaptured the spirit of the tin-top version during the late-1990s.
