1968 Rolls Royce Phantom VI Limousine

The existing Phantom metamorphosed into the even more magnificent Phantom VI in 1968, a car that Rolls-Royce would continue to build – to special order only – right up until 1992. Despite this, and the rise of its V8 engine to 6750cc in 1978, it had drum brakes right until the end. However, this most stately of British limousines wasn’t intended for speed, more for cruising along gently while those inside basked in the glory of being incredibly rich. During its quarter of a century existence, a mere 373 were constructed, ownership reading like a who’s who of the global elite.
