Seriously collectible Ferraris, not least due to the fact that only just over 150 were built and almost half were competition cars. The racers reigned supreme in the GT classes and one was even driven in period by Sir Stirling Moss; such exploits rub off on the desirability and value of road cars. History and provenance can have almost as much effect on an individual SWB’s price as condition. All came with three-litre V12s and power can range from 220/240 in road cars to 280bhp from competition- specification engines.
