1948 Riley RMC Roadster

The rarest of the RM variants, especially in Britain, was the RMC, a three-seater, two-door roadster version of the RMB. The sleek lines were even more attractive sans roof, especially with the windscreen folded flat, and the more compact interior meant a larger boot could be fitted. The engine was the same as that of the RMB – a 2443cc overhead valve unit – and also tuned to give 100bhp. The RMC was intended for overseas markets, with most going to North America. Only 507 were constructed up until the end of the line in 1950.
