1967 De Tomaso Mangusta

De Tomaso married the cancelled Ford 70P racing car programme with a rejected Iso design proposal by Giugiaro to create the Mangusta – the company’s very first supercar. Essentially a racing car for the road with svelte styling, it ended up being too hard to handle on the road, and extremely difficult to live with. But that doesn’t stop it being a great today – and although values seriously lag behind the supercar opposition, don’t imagine that the Mangusta isn’t a desirable car with prices that are bound to rise.
