This 1965 Mustang Coupe is the proud possession of Deo Catania. It was built in Ford’s Dearborn, Michigan, Detroit assembly plant on 6th May ’65, painted in stunning Springtime Yellow and bought by its 1st owner in Canada.
It's an original "A" code car, which means its 289 cuin (4.7 litre) V8 engine came with a 4 barrel carb (it still has the original carb). The engine is all stock & the trans is the aptly named "cruise o matic" Auto. It still has the original deluxe black ‘Pony’ interior. It also has power steering & disc brakes (to make cruising that bit more fun), original AM radio & steel styled wheels. The engine has a chrome air filter & rocker covers for that extra bit of shine.
Deo bought the car from E&R Classic Cars Holland in March 2015 and his only plans for now are to cruise around Malta and attend the club shows. Deo can be seen at almost (if not all) of the club car shows taking pics, indeed a lot of the photo's I have used in my features were taken by Deo.
