Top Gear is a British television show about motor vehicles since 1977 and has become very popular. The current incarnation of the Top Gear series has been launched in 2002, where Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and Jason Dawe were the presenters. It was in the second series in 2003 that the trio as we know it formed, when Dawe was replaced by James May.
The show is filmed in a large aircraft hangar with a standing audience in Waverley, Surrey. Read more about our Top Gear experience.
