Not wanting to risk its golden goose, changes from the 308 were kept to a minimum and even then justified as improvements to aerodynamics and stability. Front and rear panels below bumper level were deepened, a larger grille fitted, and some lights changed. There’s the same glorious howl from the mid-mounted quad-cam V8, but in the 328 it uses an extra 200cc to provide 30bhp more than its predecessor along with a lot more torque. The only downside is the interior, with Fiat-issue switchgear items.
