1967 Alfa Romeo 1750 Berlina

With Alfa Romeo’s new model development concentrated on the ‘Sud and Alfetta, the mid-range Giulia saloon was treated to a front and rear makeover and relaunched to become the 1750/2000 Berlina. Although the styling (by Pininfarina) was considered unimaginative, it retained the outgoing car’s roomy interior and boot, as well as its driver’s car credentials that made the original so appealing. An updated interior and dashboard brought the car usefully up to date. The top of the range 2000cc version with 132bhp was a genuine sports saloon.
